1. About these terms
Clubr (clubr.sg) is a social discovery app for adults in Singapore who want to meet people to go out with — pre-drinks, sharing a table, bars and clubs. Clubr is operated by [Company name] (UEN [number]), [registered address] (“Clubr”, “we”, “us”).
By creating an account, signing in with Google, or using Clubr, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, don’t use Clubr.
2. Who can use Clubr
You must be at least 18 years old to use Clubr. By using it, you confirm that:
- you are 18 or older, and the age on your profile is your real age;
- you are legally able to agree to these Terms;
- you have not been suspended or removed from Clubr before;
- you are not prohibited by law from using a service like this.
You may have only one account. We may ask for proof of age, and we will remove any account we believe belongs to someone under 18.
3. Your account
- Give accurate information. Your nickname, age, gender, photos and bio must be about you.
- Keep your login details private. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
- If you sign in with Google, Google’s terms also apply to that sign-in.
- Tell us at [support email] if you think someone else has accessed your account.
- You can pause your profile, hide it from Swipe, or delete your account at any time from the Profile tab.
4. Community rules
Clubr is for meeting people respectfully. You must not:
- harass, threaten, bully, stalk or intimidate anyone;
- post or send nudity, sexual content, violence, hate speech or discriminatory content;
- impersonate anyone, use someone else’s photos, or create fake or duplicate accounts;
- send spam, advertise, sell anything, or promote events, businesses or services without our written permission;
- solicit money, run scams, or ask for financial or banking details;
- offer or request sexual services, or anything illegal under Singapore law, including drugs;
- share someone else’s personal information (such as their phone number or address) without their consent;
- use bots, scrape the service, or try to access other people’s accounts or data;
- try to get around a block, suspension or ban.
We may remove content and suspend or delete accounts that break these rules.
5. Meeting people safely
Clubr helps people find each other. We do not run background checks or verify identities, and we are not responsible for how members behave online or when they meet.
When meeting someone:
- meet in a busy public place, such as a bar or club, and arrange your own transport;
- tell a friend where you are going and who you are meeting;
- drink responsibly, keep an eye on your drink, and never feel pressured to drink;
- leave if you feel uncomfortable, and report the person in the app;
- call 999 in an emergency.
You must be of legal drinking age (18 in Singapore) to buy or drink alcohol, and you must follow the rules of any venue you visit. Clubr does not sell alcohol or tickets and is not connected to any venue unless we say so.
6. Your photos and content
You keep ownership of the photos, bio and messages you add (“your content”). You give Clubr a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display and process your content so we can run the service — for example, showing your photos to other members and delivering your messages. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except where we must keep it (see section 7 and our Privacy Policy).
Photos must:
- clearly show you, and only be of you or used with permission;
- contain no nudity or sexual content;
- not show anyone under 18;
- not include contact details, social media handles or advertising.
On the Likes tab, your main photo may be shown blurred to people you haven’t liked back. We remove location data from photos when you upload them.
7. Reports, moderation and message review
You can block, unmatch or report any member from their profile or your chat. Blocking hides you from each other and ends any chat.
To keep Clubr safe, authorised Clubr administrators may review profiles, photos and messages, including private messages, to investigate reports, deal with safety concerns, carry out audits, or respond to legal requests. Every review of messages is recorded in an internal audit log.
We may, without notice, remove content, limit features, suspend or permanently delete an account if we reasonably believe someone has broken these Terms, put others at risk, or broken the law. Where the law requires it, we may share information with the police or other authorities.
8. Features and changes
- Matching: who you see in Swipe depends on your answers (such as places to meet, purposes, age and who you’d like to meet) and your activity. We don’t guarantee any number of matches or that anyone will reply.
- “Looking to meet tonight”: turns off automatically at 6 am Singapore time unless you renew it.
- Notifications: if you turn on phone notifications, we’ll send alerts about new matches, messages and likes. You can turn them off any time.
- The service: Clubr is a web app. We may change, add or remove features, and the service may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance or technical reasons.
- Price: Clubr is currently free. If we introduce paid features, we’ll show the price and terms before you pay.
9. Disclaimers and liability
Clubr is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises about members’ identity, intentions or behaviour, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the extent the law allows, Clubr is not liable for:
- anything that happens between members, online or in person;
- indirect or consequential losses, or loss of data, profit or opportunity;
- content posted by other members.
If we are found liable, our total liability is limited to SGD [100]. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Singapore law, such as for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraud.
You agree to cover Clubr’s reasonable losses and costs from claims caused by your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the service.
10. Ending, changes, law and contact
- Deleting your account: Profile → Delete account. This permanently removes your profile, photos, likes, matches and conversations, as described in our Privacy Policy.
- Changes to these Terms: we may update them. We’ll change the “Last updated” date and, for important changes, tell you in the app. Using Clubr after a change means you accept it.
- Law: these Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction.
- Contact: [support email], [Company name], [registered address].
