Terms

These Terms are an agreement between you and clubR Singapore (“clubR”, “we”, “us”) about your use of clubr.sg and the clubR app (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.

1. Who can use clubR

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • You must be able to enter into a binding agreement, and not be barred from using the Service by law.
  • You may have only one account, and it must be yours. Don’t share it or let anyone else use it.
  • The information you give must be true, including your date of birth, and your photos must be of you.

2. Your account

Keep your password safe. You’re responsible for what happens on your account. Tell us straight away at support@clubr.sg if you think someone else has used it.

3. How to behave

clubR is for finding people to enjoy nightlife with. When you use it, you must not:

  • harass, threaten, stalk, bully or intimidate anyone, or share sexual content without consent;
  • pretend to be someone else, use someone else’s photos or create fake accounts;
  • post anything illegal, hateful, violent or sexually explicit, or anything that infringes someone else’s rights;
  • sell or advertise anything, ask for money or gifts, or offer or ask for sexual services;
  • buy, sell or promote illegal drugs;
  • share someone else’s personal information without their permission;
  • spam, scam or mislead people;
  • copy, scrape or collect data from the Service, or use bots or other automated tools;
  • try to break, overload or get around the Service’s security, limits or rules.

You can report anyone who breaks these rules from their profile or your chat.

4. Your content

You own the photos, text and messages you add (“your content”). You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, display and process your content only to run, show and improve the Service. This licence ends when your content is deleted from our systems, except where we must keep it for legal reasons as described in our Privacy Policy. You confirm that you have the right to share your content.

5. Meeting people

clubR helps members find each other. It does not run background or identity checks on members. You’re responsible for your own safety and for your interactions with other members, online and in person. Meet in public places, tell a friend where you’re going and read our Safety page. In an emergency, call 999.

6. Drink offers, intros and events

  • A drink offer is a friendly gesture between members, to be settled in person if you both want to. It isn’t a payment, a promise or a contract, and clubR doesn’t handle any money.
  • Clubs and events are listed for information only. Venues and organisers are responsible for their events, including entry, prices, age and dress rules, safety, and any changes or cancellations. An RSVP on clubR is not a ticket or a booking.
  • Listing details may come from venues themselves or from public sources, and may change without notice.

7. Keeping clubR safe

We may review, hide or remove content, limit features, or suspend or close accounts that break these Terms, put others at risk or harm the Service, with or without notice. If you think we’ve made a mistake, email support@clubr.sg.

8. A free service, and changes

clubR is free to join. We may change, add or remove features, introduce paid features (with clear prices shown before you pay anything), or stop the Service. We may also update these Terms. We’ll change the date at the top, and if you keep using the Service after a change, the updated Terms apply.

9. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in Profile → Account → Delete account. We can also close your account as set out in section 7. Sections 4, 10, 11, 12 and 13 continue to apply after your account ends.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work hard to keep it running and safe, but we can’t promise that it will always be available, error-free or secure, that you’ll match with anyone, or that other members are who they say they are or will behave well.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, for loss of profits or data, or for the conduct of any member, venue or other third party, online or offline. Our total liability to you for all claims relating to the Service is limited to S$100. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

12. Indemnity

You agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs, including legal fees, that arise from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore will deal with any dispute.

14. General

If any part of these Terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don’t enforce a right straight away, we haven’t given it up. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms; we may transfer ours to whoever takes over the Service. Nobody else has rights under these Terms.
